Binary Domain - Xbox 360 Game Front Cover

What about the game?

Binary Domian is a 3rd person action game, set in the future of 2080, where you command a squad trying to infiltrate a robot corporation in Toyko.

Being that I missed this and hundreds of other games whilst playing the hyped mainstream games, Binary Domain is a game that I’m glad that I got to play later on, in fact 10 years later. It plays like most cover-based 3rd person games and the mechanic of the game makes playing it easy to get into.

The environments are very dark, and dystopian with the rain adding to the futuristic atmosphere of the game, what I noticed right from the outset is that this games squad mechanic is geared around using the mic headset to issue commands, much like Tom Clancy’s End War. I didn’t have access to a mic so I can’t tell you how well it works, what I can tell you is that you’ll get along just fine using the controller for commands.

See how I got on with Binary Domain in my video – coming on the 12th of October 2022
